The West Point Inn Association Mission Statement

History

Secluded among the trees on the upper south slope of Mt. Tamalpais, the Inn was once a stopover for passengers who rode the “Crookedest Railroad in the World” up from Mill Valley to the top of the mountain.

Reservations

The West Point Inn, established 1904, is on the National Register of Historic Places, and open to the public. The Inn is operated by the non-profit West Point Inn Association through its 500 member volunteers.

Membership

The West Point Inn Association is a group of approximately 500 volunteers who maintain and operate the West Point Inn on scenic Mt.Tamalpais, located in the San Francisco bay area. Members enjoy the camaraderie of others in a setting that is second to none.
